I'm proud to announce that I'm part of the Two-Notes' team of  artists and endorsed by Torpedo CAB. It's a great amp, cab and  mic simulator. I'll be uploading new videos to show you some of the great sounds that you can get.

       2014 was a great year, traveling to new places, meeting and  working with great singers and musicians, and after a pleasure hard work, I'm ready to bring to 2015 my new show called "Latin Rock Experience".

Can't wait to start traveling with this new material of great songs, arrangements and fun.

Europe/Middle East/Africa Tour'14

From September 27th to January 7th

Right after the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, I'm going to spend 2 months in Europe working on my next show. In September 27th I'll be joining the msRotterdam for 3 months tour around Europe, Middle East and Africa. It's an opportunity to visit and get to know so many different places, cultures and play for different people. I'll be travelling and giging with my 2 new babies: a great Music Man Silhouette'1991 and a surprising Nylon Strings Ibanez acoustic guitar.

Biography

 

Versatile guitarist, producer and arranger Antonio “Tony” Cantisano was born and grew up in Rio de Janeiro, spent 15 years as a professional musician living in Brazil, then, following his family’s background, moved to Florence, Italy. 

 

Tony began playing guitar at age 14 and quickly realized that music was his passion. Some of his early influences include Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, The Beatles, Iron Maiden, Rush, AC/DC, Queen, Kiss and the greatest Brazilian composer, Antonio Carlos Jobim. At age 18 after graduating from high school, he studied at Rio de Janeiro’s Musiarte School and graduated with a Guitar degree and Bachelor of Music at Universidade Estácio de Sá.

 

Tony has played with many rock bands, worked as side musician and music director with different singers and well-known names around the world. Starting in 2008, has gone on to work for Holland America Line as guitarist, band leader and music director. In 2014 Tony moved to Germany, settled in Hamburg, where he started writing and producing his first and anticipated solo album titled, “Tony Cantisano”, released by Sel Kaya Records in 2015.
